This is a group of parishioners who gets together every Friday evening at 7pm in the parish office. It’s a detailed study of the Bible, which is to take about four (4) years to complete.

Thinking about becoming a Catholic, completing your sacraments or renewing your faith? RCIA stands for the “Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults”. It is a process in the Catholic Church in which people question, learn and come closer to God. It is for that particular individual who wants to become part of a larger community in which they can share and freely express their faith in Jesus. The main purpose of the rite is to assist prospective Catholics in their journey to becoming active members of the church community.
Inquirers can be anyone: not baptized Catholic, but have not received the Eucharist or Confirmation, or have fallen away and need further instruction, baptized in another Christian church but in need of instruction in the Catholic faith.
RCIA for Teens – If you are a teenager who needs to complete your sacraments, RCIA may be for you. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process in which you can question, learn and come closer to God.
The CCD Religious Education program takes place on weekday evenings and is divided by age category. All arrangements for religious instruction for grades 1-8 are made through the religious education office.

Catechists: Are persons of faith who volunteer to communicate God’s love by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Catechist role is to prepare weekly lesson plans according to the established guidelines and the grade level textbook, teach the lesson at the weekly classes and be a Christian witness for our children and their parents.
Catechists’ Aides: Also volunteer to assist the Catechist during the class sessions each week.
Substitute Catechist: A person of faith who can fill in when the regular Catechist is not available.
Pageant: For a few weeks a year, we need help during the rehearsals, with the costumes, or with anything else the committee needs. If you are interested in giving our children a great experience, please contact the office at 845-238-3844 or email [email protected]
