Our goal is to support teen participation in the community and parish, and to enhance teen spiritual growth in a relevant and practical way. The group is involved in volunteer projects such as food drives, blood drives, assistance to those in need, parish programs, retreats, social and family gatherings. We also hold discussions on topics relevant to today’s youth.
We have two youth groups, one for children in grades 5 – 8, and another for those 9-12. In this way we can keep the activities and discussions age-appropriate.
St. Anastasia’s Tween Group for kids in grades 5 – 8 is just starting out this year (Fall, 2012), and more information will be forthcoming as the group develops. As of this writing, the group is meeting on the second and fourth Sundays of the month from 5 – 7pm in the Cardinal O’Connor Room.
